A New Chapter for Zone RV
As of March 2026, Zone RV is under new ownership and the factory is back in production.
On 1 December 2025, Zone Manufacturing Pty Ltd and Zone RV Holdings Pty Ltd entered voluntary administration. Creditors voted to wind up the companies on 15 January 2026. On 13 March 2026, the Zone RV brand and business assets were acquired by Adventure Zone RV Pty Ltd, a new company majority-owned by Jamie Johnson, who also owns Design RV and Essential Caravans.
The acquisition keeps the Zone RV brand, the Coolum facility, and the premium Australian-made product range in production.
To customers affected by the collapse
We know the collapse of the previous companies significantly impacted a lot of people. Families who saved for years, trusted the brand, and were left without their van or their money. We can’t undo that, and the new company doesn’t carry the obligations of the old ones. But we want to help where we can.
If you paid a deposit or progress payments to the previous companies, we’re offering affected customers the chance to have a new caravan built at cost price. It’s not full restitution and we know that. For some it will be a path back to the road. For others it won’t be enough, and we understand that too.

Moving forward
Our focus is on rebuilding Zone RV as a well-run and trustworthy business. The factory is back in production and we’re getting on with building quality off-road caravans for exploring Australia.
